Join ECITB at the Aura Innovation Centre, Hessle on 8th October 2025 to discuss their new five-year Leading Industry Learning Strategy for growing Engineering Construction skills.
ECITB’s ambitious new five-year Leading Industry Learning strategy for growing Engineering Construction Industry skills, and region-specific plans for the Humber region, will be discussed at Aura Innovation Centre, Hessle on 8th October. Event runs 9am-11am and will feature a mix of client and contractor representatives. This event will also be discussing the £300K investment in the CATCH facility to support skills capacity, and what more ECITB can look to establish across the region to support critical Humber skills growth.
The strategy is built on three key pillars:
- Deliver: We will deliver quality training products and qualifications that meet industry needs, as well as robust labour market intelligence to enable better workforce planning.
- Grow: We will seek to grow the number of new entrants joining the industry and help employers access a broader, more diverse talent pool. We will also focus on workforce retention, supporting upskilling, reskilling and competence assurance.
- Transform: We will transform skills through strategic investment in regional hubs, harnessing new technologies, modular and blended learning and driving a collaborative approach.
