Last places remaining for our roundtable consultations!

As you are hopefully aware we are currently in the process of developing our new Hull & East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP). If you are not familiar with LSIPs, they aim to improve the local skills system by outlining key priorities to enhance access to training opportunities and reshape skills provision to better meet the needs of employers. We can only do this effectively if we gain valuable insights from our local employers.

Therefore we are calling upon our local employers to share your insights to ensure our new LSIP is truly reflective of your needs. You can share your views via our survey or by attending one of our roundtable consultation events (please note places are limited so you do need to get in touch with us to confirm your attendance).

Our roundtable consultation events are as follows at Bishop Burton College:

• Construction and Engineering Construction: Tuesday 27th January 10.30am – 1.30pm
• Manufacturing and Agri-Skills: Tuesday 27th January 12.30pm – 3.30pm
• Health & Social Care: Thursday 29th January 10.30am – 1.30pm
• Energy and Marine, Ports & Logistics: Thursday 29th January 12.30pm – 3.30pm

We will be providing a free lunch for all delegates between 12.30 and 1.30pm on both days, which will allow for networking opportunities for you all.
