Description:

Wicstun Veterinary Group are expanding the Client Care Team. We are looking for a Client Care Associate with excellent customer service, and front of house skills to work on our Reception at our hospital in Market Weighton.
The role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.

Part time
We have two shift patterns available:

8am – 7pm Tuesday and Thursday + 1:2 Saturday 8am – 1pm (22.5hrs p/week)
1x 8am – 7pm and 1x 8am – 5pm + 1:2 Saturday 8am – 1pm (20.5 hrs p/week)

Previous experience on reception/front of house role is essential
Experience within a veterinary or clinical setting is desirable
Able to work without direct supervision
Basic IT knowledge (Microsoft package including Teams and Outlook) essential.


Our Client Care Associates are the first point of contact for anyone visiting our practices and we require a friendly and professional approach, and discretion where required. The main duties of the role:

Welcoming all clients and visitors to the hospital/practice
Answering telephones and diverting or taking messages ensuring prompt delivery and accurate details.
Monitoring practice email and directing enquiries to the relevant department
Accurately inputting patient data to the computer system as required
Dealing with all general enquiries, explaining procedures in place and making new and follow up appointments.
Processing repeat prescription requests ensuring the pharmacy receive in a timely manner.
Advising patients of relevant charges, taking payments and providing receipts and invoices where applicable.
Ensuring that waiting areas, reception and patient toilets are kept clean, tidy and stocked up.
Working as a team to assist the Practice Manager in the debt recovery process.
