Description:

This is an opportunity to work with individuals who have complex offending backgrounds and mental health needs. Working in prisons can be challenging as well as rewarding and this opportunity is a fantastic chance to make a positive difference to the lives of people who are often disadvantaged and vulnerable. You will be able to demonstrate skill and experience of providing evidence based psychological / psychosocial interventions geared towards supporting service users to make positive changes and work towards recovery. You will be highly motivated with the ability to support and inspire. You will be enthusiastic about working within an ever-changing prison environment. You will work in a fully multi-disciplinary team to provide varied and comprehensive interventions in-line with the stepped care model. You will work to assist service users to progress through their sentence and onto their resettlement in the community.
