The Hull and East Yorkshire Local Skills Improvement Plan (HEY LSIP) 2.0 builds on the foundations established through LSIP 1.0, delivered between 2023 and 2026. As an employer-led initiative, the LSIP places businesses at the heart of the skills system — ensuring that provision is shaped by real-world workforce needs, sector demand, and future economic opportunity.
This Local Skills Improvement Plan has been approved by the Secretary of State in accordance with the requirements of section 1 of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022, and the relevant published statutory guidance.
